Paul Battram, the owner, founder, and lead performer of Circus Cascadia has been teaching Circus and Puppetry since 1994. Originally from London, Paul got his start training with the Panic Circus, with the famous Prof. Panic. He attended Circus School at Llanidloes in Mid-Wales. The Panic Clowns high energy thought provoking performances entertained thousands. Paul then founded The Pulcinelli’s, a clown troupe that performed shows all over the U.K. performing shows focused on environmental awareness.

In the last 4 years Circus Cascadia, has led workshops in Schools and summer camps in many different schools around Portland. Paul has a tremendous amount of experience designing workshops and community events for children, teens and special needs groups. His lively and enthusiastic approach is inclusive and enabling. Because of this, Paul is able to design and provide creative environments where people play, learn and grow.
